Construction Management

Our construction management team has over 60 years of combined experience they can apply to your project to ensure its success.

We can assist a project through its life cycle starting with Constructability Reviews in the early stages of design to coordination and implementation of competitive bidding of contractors; moving into managing the project as it progresses; and completing it with finalizing the punch list and the documentation of the close-out portions.

Jergens has the ability to help an owner transition from a ‘vision for the future’ to the ‘new work place of today’ while taking on the daily responsibilities that come with any project.

We have the ability to provide you with the following services:
  • Constructability Review
    Review a design before a contractor is selected to make sure the package is as complete as possible and identify potential problems and/or change requests.
  • Scheduling
    Develop a construction schedule that incorporates owner’s needs/responsibilities as well as contractor’s tasks/responsibilities. We will manage the project to this schedule and update the schedule as circumstances dictate.
  • Punch List and Close-Out Documentation
    Develop, publish, and maintain a punch list of activities needed to be completed for each contractor. Develop a list of documentation to be turned over to the owner (i.e. owner manuals, warranty information, test reports…). Publish this list and manage it to completion.
  • Bidding
    Set up a bid process whether online or person to person. We will work with the owner to develop and then transmit the contractual expectations of contractors once award is made.
  • Manage Daily Activities
    Provide guidance as well as monitor progress of contractors on the project. Report progress to the owner as well as any foreseen circumstances that could affect quality, schedule, or budget.
  • Verification of Pay Applications
    Construction Management Services can review applications made for payment and reconcile them with actual work completed or material procured, in accordance with contract provisions.

Owners and/or Design firms may have existing Standard Operating Procedures and requirements. We can work with established procedures and suggest where additional procedures may benefit the owner.
